I started quilting with Lisa 3 years ago. Lisa helped me grow as a quilter and I really like her teaching style. My favorite quilt was a "life through pictures" quilt made for my nephew and his wife cataloging their dating, marriage and journey of birthing two lovely children.I will treasure not only the memory of my quilts but the closeness of the quilting meets!

Before I met Lisa, I was recovering from the loss of my husband and had moved to Colorado to start a new life. To honor my husband, Lisa taught me how to do a memory quilt – this quilt gave me peace, determination, and most of all a reminder of all of the good times that my husband and I had. I gave this quilt to my daughter for her birthday and she loved it! Thank you Lisa for all of your teachings and patience!

I’ve been quilting with Lisa now for about 4 or 5 years and have learned so much. Lisa is very detailed oriented , starts and finishes all her projects , as she help the other quilters will questions and solutions for their projects as well. She is an excellent teacher and provides us with countless hours of fun every week.

My daughter was pregnant with my first grand child and I wanted to create something special. Lisa suggested that I do a baby quilt. Since I'd never sewn before, we spent time learning to setup the machine, reading patterns, and honing best techniques for cutting and sewing. The quilt came out wonderful, my daughter was happy, and my grand baby uses it a lot. I am now in the process of doing a quilt for my mother. Lisa is so knowledgeable and helpful!

Lisa taught me to make a quilt for my brother using old shirts of my father who had passed. I've since completed three quilts. I appreciate the patience and time Lisa takes each week for me and others to learn and laugh together. Quilting has become a new hobby and I appreciate that it has opened my mind to the person the quilt is intended for rather than my own situations. Thanks Lisa for helping me to put the pieces of my life back together!!!

For my 40th birthday, Lisa went in to "total stealth" mode and had my closest friends trace their hands, and write birthday greetings inside of hearts to create a "Heart in Hand" quilt for me. It is without a doubt the COOLEST GIFT I have ever gotten!!!! Thanks Lisa
